Gardner Bender Heat Shrink Tubing Black 1/4 in. 6-Pack.
Benefits
⚡ Durable flame retardent black polyoiefin
⚡ Solvent and Fluid Resistant
⚡ Ideal for cable insulation
Description
Thin wall heat shrink tubing is made from durable, flame retardant, black polyolefin, that is both solvent and fluid-resistant and ideal for cable insulation, repair, marking or bundling. Heat shrink not only provides superior mechanical protection, abrasion and humidity, but also reinforces connections and provides a comfortable holding surface. The professional and diy multi purpose applications comprise the cabling of repair cords, which cover instruments and sports appliance handles and screening seams for neat, unravel-resistant ends (from large appliance cords to small electrical cables that show wear in a pullout). Last but not least, tubing resists common fluids and solvents. Upon heating to 120 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit) the tubing begins to shrink but will not drip, crack or flow and is self-extinguishing within 30 seconds. Meets UL 224, 125 degree Celsius CSA C22.2 No3 198.1, 125 degree Celsius MIL-DTL-23053/5, Class 1 and 2, AMS 3636 and 3637 DEF STAN 59-79, issue 3 type 2A. Continuous operating temperature -55 degree Celsius (-67 degree Fahrenheit) to 135 degree Celsius (275 degrees Fahrenheit). Shrink temperature 120 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit) to 250 degrees Celsius (480 degrees Fahrenheit). 600 Voltage/Mil Dielectric strength.
