• STIHL RAPIDTM Super 3 is a low-kickback, low-vibration variant of STIHL RAPIDTM Super. The RS3 is a full-chisel, aggressive, fast-cutting chain with a single-humped driving link to avoid kickback and a cutter and tie strap design that lowers cutting vibration. The square-cornered cutter form with razor-edged edges ensures minimal chain friction for a smooth and clean cut in hard or frozen wood. Its cutting and plunge-cutting efficiency is good. RS3 chain cuts faster than RM chain, but it needs to be sharpened and maintained carefully to keep performing well.

  The RS3 chain is suitable for felling, bucking, and limbing and is best suited for medium to high-powered chainsaws. It’s a multi-purpose chain designed to meet the needs of full-time professionals.

  Low-kickback, green-labeled chain is recommended by STIHL.
